The documentary tells the unusual story of the American singer,actor and political activist Dean Reed.He was a suprestar in the Soviet Block and other socialistic countries but remained unknown in his homeland.Reed settled down in East Germany in the early 1970s.In 1986,he was found dead in a lake near his home.The film explores his life and his mysterious death by interviewing his colleagues,friends,wives.
